Chevy Corvette Gran Turismo concept will bridge the digital divide in GT6

If you guessed that the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray would be in heavy rotation at this year's SEMA show, you'd be right. The new Corvette is one of the hottest cars on the planet these days, and the halls here in Las Vegas are chocked full of modified examples that range from bananas to unholy.

And of course Chevy has a few cars of its own on the show stand this year. The blue-liveried car you see above is one such, and it comes compete with a nice piece of news for video gamers, too.

This 2014 Corvette makes real the C7 that will be available to drive in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6. That mostly entails adding appearance parts; the yellow lens covers and graphics on the body are obviously GT specific, and the carbon-fiber-construction ground effects kit adds a bit of visual menace. Of course, it would hardly be a SEMA car with out a rather ostentatious rear wing, as well.

The presentation of the Gran Turismo Corvette came with news that all seven generations of the Vette will be available to play in GT6. Start saving those credits.
