Three South Philadelphia residents have been arrested and charged in connection with a vandalism spree that left paint scratched or tires slashed on at least 38 vehicles Bianca Beck, David Whitfeld and David Baker were captured on security cameras walking around their own neighborhood where vehicles were vandalized around the time of the incident.
The trio allegedly slashed the tires on more than 35 cars and scratched at least three, one of which included a homophobic slur, NBC Philadelphia reported. After releasing security video footage of the vandals, police received numerous tips leading to the arrest. All three have been charged with 39 counts of vandalism.
Such childish crime may not be violent, but it can do quite a lot of damage. One man in a dealership in Oklahoma City caused half a million dollars in damage when he keyed 12 high-end cars.
