Many news outlets have speculated that
Audi's R8 E-Tron is dead. Audi themselves seemed to
confirm the program's cancelation, but recent
spy photos would suggest otherwise. The all-electric
R8 was spotted testing in Spain earlier this week.
There is no doubt that the price will be higher than the gas version of the R8, but range and power remain a mystery. Audi hasn't announced any official specs--though, the electric
super car has already proven itself worthy of the Nürburgring
Let's hope those
rumors of the R8 E-Tron's cancellation were false. After all, it doesn't make sense for Audi promote the car with the next Iron Man movie and then drop it from their lineup. Perhaps the video below is proof that Audi is still on top of it.
