NHL star Teemu Selanne scores a silver Fisker Karma

Nicknamed "The Finnish Flash," Teemu Selänne led the National Hockey League (NHL) in goals scored three times, was named to the NHL's All-Star Team on two occasions, won the coveted Stanley Cup in 2007, holds three Winter Olympic medals and currently serves as an alternate captain of the Anaheim Ducks. Even more important: he is now the owner of a silver Fisker Karma.
This hockey legend received his latest gadget in front of Hotel Kämp Helsinki in his native Finland. Teemu's wife, Sirpa, appeared thrilled by the acquisition of the locally built Karma, which the pair purchased directly from contract manufacturer Valmet Automotive in New Town, Finland.

The Fisker Karma reportedly retails for between 122,658 ($161,369 U.S. at today's exchange rate) and 141,141 euros ($185,685 U.S.) in Finland. That's chump change for a NHL star of Selanne's caliber. The 41-year-old Selanne joins other celebs, including Leonardo DiCaprio, in the Fisker Karma owner's circle. Now, if only regular folk in the U.S. could get theirs.
