Brammo introducing race-ready electric bikes for TTXGP

Brammo
, makers of the Enertia Plus and Empulse road-going electric motorcycles, has decided to make it easier for riders who want to take their electric two-wheelers into competition. Brammo has signed a deal with the TTXGP electric racing series to provide off-the-shelf racers for the 2013 season.

The racing bikes will be based on the Empulse, but with beefed up components. Electric race bike maker Mavizen will work with Brammo to provide race kits and performance upgrades to turn the already speedy Empulse into a competitive racing machines.

At the moment, getting started in electric racing can be a pricey proposition. Brammo's own bikes have done well, but TTXGP races aren't exactly overwhelmed by competitors. Brammo hopes to swell those ranks by providing an all-inclusive package that features not only a bike that's race-ready from the start, but even the entry fees for the 2013 racing season. So, if all that's been holding you back from electric two-wheeled glory is money and time, start practicing your winner's circle smile.
