CPP buys Zagato?

The UK-based coachbuilder Coventry Prototype Panels (otherwise known as CPP) has been on a buying spree, recently snatching up Bowler and the exotic car arm of Spyker. Now comes word that the company – owned by Vladamir Antonov – has added another automotive company to its growing portoflio. Rumor has it that CPP just purchased Italian design house Zagato.

If that name doesn't ring a bell, you need to brush up on your super-sexy vehicle design knowledge. Zagato is the firm responsible for some of the most beautiful cars in the galaxy. Now, Antonov has taken them under his wing (and wallet). We're still waiting on an official announcement regarding the purchase of Zagato, but with Antonov's Convers Group involved, anything is possible.
