Make no mistake, the Tesla Roadster is in its element out on the track. With 0 to 60 miles per hour in the sub-four second range, mounds of grip in the corners and a top speed of 125 mph, the Roadster has no problem keeping up with its gas-fueled competition on most tracks. But it's the autocross where the Roadster truly shines. It's nimble, punchy and offers right-now acceleration that few of its gas-powered rivals can match.
Ever wonder what's it's like to pilot a Roadster 'round a makeshift autocross course? Wonder no more, 'cause we've posted video of the electric Roadster carving its way through the cones at a recent BMW CCA AutoX event. Nearly three minutes of on-track action is waiting for you after the jump. Now go.
