An exciting Andros Trophée Electrique season ended with the name of one Nicolas Prost again finding its way to the top of the leaderboard. The result could have been much different. With only a single Prost win during the proceeding six events, there were four drivers within striking distance when the electric buggies took to the challenging Lans en Vercors track. In the end, Nicolas edged out Christophe Ferrier with a 1st and 3rd place finish in the final two races.
While the points race may have ended with Prost on top, there was still more racing to come. Last weekend saw the "Super Final" take place at the Stade de France. Before a crowd of 55,000, the cars and drivers of the Trophée Andros Electrique again took to the ice for a racing reprise. This time they were joined by the likes of former Formula One and Indy car champion Jacques Villeneuve. In the ensuing contests, Ferrier exacted a little revenge by taking first place, leaving second spot to Prost while Villeneuve managed a third place in his electric debut.
