Smart Forspeed – Click above to watch video after the jump
Smart apparently thinks it's got a winner with the all-electric, roof-free Forspeed concept that will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show. Smart vice president Annette Winkler talks up the little fantasy-mobile in the video, saying that the Forspeed is not just a functional vehicle, but that the concept shows that the company is a think tank for mobility. Hey Smart, how about thinking of a way to protect the driver if it happens to start sprinkling.
As we learned the other day, the Forspeed has a top speed of 75 miles per hour and a range of around 85 miles per charge. The "speed" part of the name? That's from the blazing 0-60 time of just 5.5 seconds (minor detail: that's 60 kilometers per hour, or around 37 mph).
