Automobile has compiled a list of the 2011 model year vehicles deserving of all-star recognition. To show off each choice, the buff book has enlisted illustrator Daniel Stolle to turn each vehicle into a child's toy. The list of 2011 Automobile All-Stars features:

        Yeah, because something sells better means it is better... Everyone picked the mustang this year, it's the better car, sorry, but it is.

        The author must be a Ford stockholder, hence picking the Mustang over the better-selling Camaro.

      There are no SUVs because their motto is "no boring cars", which eliminates most SUVs and CUVs.

      Strange that there is not an SUV or CUV, but either way, I can't imagine this list creating much in the way of controversy.

        I thought there was, but I could be mixing it up with C&D's 10 Best. Either way it stuck me as odd that there is a pickup and no SUV/CUV.

      Was the Dodge Charger too late to be considered? I'm sure it's more improved than most of the cars on that list.
