What's the worst part about a terrible explosion at a local gas station? The Onion reports that it is the tragic, tragic loss of gasoline of course. When the rescue workers arrived, the best they could do was wring a few tablespoons out of the various body parts strewn about. We're still not quite sure what happened, but I encourage everyone to share in a brief moment of silence for the lost gasoline. Amen. You can see what happened for yourself after the jump.
In all seriousness, this is only a slight exaggeration of how important gasoline is to this country. Still. After all these years. Perhaps one day, this hard-hitting news report from The Onion won't be understandable by the average person. Any bets on when that might happen?
