Sexy Green Car Show canceled

For the last two years, an event called the Sexy Green Car Show has taken place in the UK. The event was scheduled to take place this May in a new location in London, but the latest news is that it's been canceled - another casualty of the downturn of the auto industry. Some have suggested that the drop in fuel prices is directly attributable as the cause of the event's cancellation, but show organizers claim that it wasn't a significant factor. A total of six manufacturers had already signed up for the event and are now looking for other ways to introduce their greenest products to the audience in the UK. According to Rob Mackenzie, managing director of the event, all efforts are now being made to ensure that the show goes on in 2010, but there remains a possibility that some sort of replacement will be scheduled in 2009.
