The little Principality of Monaco is keeping up its role in the media spotlight for their EV efforts
. The small country will soon be the location of the first European tests of the all-electric Mitsubishi
MiEV, still expected to go on sale in 2010. Of course, the Japanese vehicle
will probably be put on sale in the UK before the Continent because it is right hand drive, but who's counting. As you can see in the pic, the MiEV was recently part of a promo photo with Prince Albert II of Monaco as part of the vehicle's Continental
introduction (but, if you consider Iceland
to be in Europe, then this wasn't the premiere). In case you've missed our previous coverage
, the MiEV has a 120 mile range and can quick charge in under 30 minutes.
