We know it's expensive, but what does the Lexus LS600h really cost?

The 2008 Lexus LS 600h L is not a green car for green's sake. Instead, it's a slightly less offensive luxury car for the guilty-feeling rich. We've already covered just how pricey this sedan is (see links below), but Matt Nauman of the San Jose Mercury News recently thought more about what else the $125,000 (give or take) that one of these puppies costs could get you (31,000 Starbucks venti lattes, for one).

Nauman (who I kind of took to task for being led around by some of Zap's promotional blitz) wrote a nice review of the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L, and you can read his <20 mpg adventures here. One thing I learned is that the 600h has an EV button that'll move the car up to 25 mph on electric power alone. Nauman doesn't say how far that'll get you.

When talking about this top-of-the-line Lexus hybrid, the question remains, do you want one of these or a Tesla Roadster?
