Spy Shots: BMW M3 sedan

When we saw the new for 09' BMW M3 coupe at the Geneva Motor Show, we were mighty impressed. Knowing the Bavarian Motor Werks famed M cars, the stat sheet tells only half the story, but with 420 hp pumping from a 4.0L V8, that is one half of a very compelling tale. Fantastic driving characteristics, stop-on-a-dime brakes, and lightweight material are what makes the M3 such a renowned sports coupe, and we're sure the sedan will be no different.
The pictures show that the front end of the sedan is virtually unchanged from that of the coupe. Save for the aggressive bumper, the tail-end of the sedan looks more like that of the 3-Series sedan than it does the two-door.

We're excited for BMW's first four-door version of the M3 since the 1999 E36, and the only thing that's getting us down right now is that the 2009 M3 Sedan is at least a year away.
