We're not sure how to answer that question, either. On the one hand, it's a nifty production-ready concept that's one part Escalade and one part Avalanche. You would think that combination instantly equals an EXT, and mabye it does, but the Edag LUV takes the luxury truck concept a few clicks farther.
As impractical as it is, the teak wood surfaces of the LUV truck have us smitten. The craftsmanship appears top-notch and the only place you'll find such ornamentation is on a Rolls-Royce Drophead Convertible, and not nearly as much of it.
While the LUV Concept looks derived from a Caddy at first sight, there's more Mercedes-Benz to this vehicle than meets the eye, specifically the 6.1L Brabus-tuned motor producing 462 horsepower. Brabus also handled wrapping the interior in leather where the latest in state-of-the-art electronics lives. Backseat occupants are greeted with a pair of UMPCs (Ultra Mobile PCs) inset into each headrest, which they can use to surf the net, watch movies or play games.
Edag is still looking for a business partner to help them build the LUV Concept for real. Any takers?
Check out our new live pics to see if the LUV truck stands up to the unflattering lights and popping flashes of the Geneva show floor.
