GM extends incentive deal and adds Saturn Vue Green Line

GM has been working hard over the past 14 months to curtail incentive spending. Last month the company may have shown too much restraint with sales that were down eight percent vs. 2006 levels. GM knows as well as anybody how to get rid of excess invetory; slap a 0% sticker on the windshield and get ready to deal. The General did just that with their recent Presidents' Day sale and the response was so strong, the sale has been extended to the end of February. They even added the Saturn Vue Green Line to the 0% deal due in part to the fact that many Saturn dealers only had the Green Line version of the Vue in stock. Even with the big sale, GM's incentives for February are about flat vs. 2006.
