So the Reader Ride of the Day has been on hiatus for a few weeks as we amass more pics, more details and more stories about your own means of transport. We're getting increasingly excited, as we have seen some truly stellar additions come through over the past month.
Next week, we'll be picking five random rides to feature each day, but the following week, it's all about the beaters. We want to see your daily driven, beat-to-Hell rides, no matter what their condition. Rust, oil leaks, faded paint, trashed interiors, whatever. The more gruesome the better, but as always, give us as much background as possible. If you've got tales of broken windshield wipers during a monsoon or embarrassing stories about driving your mother-in-law to the store, we want to hear them.
After our Beater of the Day, we'd really like to do get some off-roaders in the mix, as well as some pickups. So be sure to submit your ride, whatever it is, to our Flickr pool by following the directions after the jump.
How to submit to RR of the Day:
Create a Flickr account if you don't already have one. Search for and join the group called 'Autoblog RR of the Day'. Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!
