A new gas station
that's opening in Omaha will be the first associated with the Terror-Free Oil Initiative
. The goal is to offer consumers a chance to purchase gasoline not imported from countries that support or sponsor terrorism. Officials say this station is first of others that will open across the country. Analysts say the station's strategy will differentiate it from other gas pumps much the same way dolphin-free tuna used eco-labeling to its advantage. The question remains whether drivers will go out of their way to patronize the new station, and whether the "terror free" message resonates.
