Spy Photos: BMW 135ti killer hatchback

Mazda Europe may have the MPS version of the Mazda3 (known as the Mazdaspeed3 in North America), with a stout 260+ hp, but leave it to BMW to roll out the King Kong of production hatchbacks - the 135ti. While other high-performance hatchbacks struggle to manage powerful engines in a front-wheel drive package, BMW takes full advantage of its hatchback model's RWD platform by stuffing in a 3-liter turbocharged six-cylinder powerplant, putting 306 ponies at the driver's disposal.
