Stefan Eriksson pleads "not guilty"

After an attorney switch-a-roo, Stefan Eriksson entered a plea of "not guilty" in response to nine charges against him including grand theft, embezzlement and drunken-driving. For those of you who were living under a rock or caught up in an American Idol stupor over the last few months, the seven felony and two misdemeanor charges relate to the Feb. 21 crash of Ericksson's Ferrari Enzo, which was unceremoniously torn in half after hitting a pole along a Malibu freeway at 160 mph.

Alec Rose, Ericksson's new lawyer, says he's trying to postpone a July 31 trial date on behalf of his client, whose bail was set at $3 million.
