Suzuki to close Chevrolet shop in Japan

Mainichi Shimbun is reporting that Suzuki Motor Corp. plans to discontinue selling the Chevrolet brand in Japan by year's end. With the liquidation of most of General Motors' Suzuki shares last March, this was a rather somewhat predictable outcome. That said, neither Suzuki or GM are officially commenting on the report.
