Volvo issues recall on S40, V50, and XC90

Ford subsidiary Volvo is recalling some 250,000 of its vehicles worldwide. Affected models include the S40 sedan, V50 wagon (MY 2004-2006) and the popular XC90 SUV (MY 2003-2006). According to the manufacturer, fuel hoses in the S40 and V50 could be damaged by engine heat while there is a potential problem with the XC90's steering arm.
There have been no reported accidents by either problem. The automaker will repair all potentially affected vehicles free of charge.
