Yesterday, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (
NHTSA) issued two
recalls, one for
Cadillac and the second for
Saab:

- The Cadillac recall, which affects the 2005 model year SRX SUV and STS sedan, points to an incorrect welding of the toe links in the rear suspension. The problem could potentially cause a crash. 23,000 Cadillacs may have been affected.
- The Saab recall affects the 2001 Saab 9-3 (pictured). The NHTSA bulletin states that fuel lines and fittings in the vehicle were damaged during manufacturing. 11,000 vehicles may have been affected.
