I really like this story about two twenty-somethings who run their
Mercedes Benzes on
biodiesel from the
Napa Valley Register. The article itself describes for the local community something that is happening across the country in a thousand small and large communities: people taking at least some control over the fuel they put in their cars. Thanks to the attention Earth Day focuses on environmental issues, newspapers and other media outlets publicize the regular work people do all year round. The two people featured in the article, Autumn Chute and Moxie Stratton, are making biodiesel and other
alternative fuels an everyday reality for themselves. What’s really happening is that they’re also helping to make better energy sources a reality for the world. Thanks, folks. [Source: Napa Valley Register]
