Jed Connelly, senior vice president of Nissan North America's sales and marketing, is retiring. The 60-year-old had been planning to move along with the company's headquarters from South California to Tennessee, but decided over the last month to retire instead.
Connelly's post (to be vacated July 1) will be taken by Brad Bradshaw, who is currently the vice president and general manager of Nissan North America.
Nissan believes that about 50-percent of its 1,300 workers will make the trek to suburban Nashville, and 80-percent of executives have committed to the transition as well.
