Today's recalls brought to you by letters "F"iat and "P"orsche

According to UK car pub AutoExpress, Fiat will mail letters to 10,284 owners of its wacky diesel Multipla. The recall covers derv-burning MPVs that left the factory between May 1999 and December 2004, and was spurned by fear of a front suspension issue that could result in a cut tire.

And in other news, Porsche has initiated its second recall of the year, this time due to faulty brakes. The service action involves more than 100 Boxsters, 911s, and Caymans built between November 22 and December 13 of 2005, and was triggered by a faulty bearing which may cause parking brake failure.
