Poll results: Battle of the big utes decided

Autoblog readers have spoken and collectively decided that the 2007 Chevy Tahoe will have a better shot at bigger sales than the 2007 Ford Expedition. A total of 1,784 votes were cast, with 67 percent going for the Tahoe and 33 percent for the Expedition.

Both vehicles were redesigned for the upcoming model year and feature new skins as well as a host of mechanical, safety and interior upgrades. The mammoth Excursion has been dropped from Ford's lineup and been replaced with the new Expedition EL (Extra Large?), which is being positioned as a direct competitor to the Chevy Suburban, so these two range-topping sport utilities are set to do head-to-head battle in the marketplace on all fronts this year. Time will tell if our poll was accurate, so we'll have to wait and see...
