In attempting to bridge the gap between the likes of the Buick LaCrosse and the BMW 325i, the Volkswagen Passat has failed, according to the Detroit Free Press' Mark Phelan.
He admits that bridging that gap is a hard thing to do, but that's the only props he gives to VW for its all-new Passat.
