After saying from the outset that the retro-Miura concept was not destined for production, for the logical reason that the company was fully busy producing its current line of sports cars, Lamborghini may be back-pedalling after encouraging feedback from the concept's debut in the U.S.
British magazine Auto Express speculates that a limited production run "now looks likely," at the same time quoting Lamborghini president Stephan Winklemann as saying a Lamborghini luxury SUV, based on Audi's Q7, could be in the offing.
We will probably have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show in March for anything approaching a definitive yes or no for either project. Meanwhile, it's an excuse for everyone to publish another picture of the Miura concept, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
