Japanese newspaper Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun reports that the next generation xB most likely will be bigger and sold strictly to the U.S. market.
No details, such as its final design or where it will be built, have been released by Scion's parent company,
Toyota. A concept model, the t2B (pictured) made its debut at the New York Auto Show this year, a possible hint to the
new vehicle's design.
Given that sales for the current generation model exceeded 150,000 this year and current trends towards larger, more powerful crossovers (witness the upcoming RAV4), it would not be surprising if the new xB does equally well.
