Its 135,000 exported vehicles represent a jump of 133.6 percent over last year, while its imports of 128,000 are an 11.6 percent drop. China's automotive industry has a ways to go before its passenger vehicle exports outweight its imports, however — the Ministry said that 59 percent of the exports are commercial vehicles.
