Russians creating a mid-engine racer named Nebo

We received a tip from Greg who runs a Russian website called Car Design.ru that a Moscow-based company called Russian Auto Design (RAD) is working on a mid-engine sports car called the Nebo, which is Russian for "Sky". The vehicle's weight will be in the range of 1,875 lbs. to 1,985 lbs. and two engines will be available, one producing 94 hp and the 145 hp. Greg notes that whatever you think about the vehicle's design, you can't claim it's plagiarized. Fair enough. The design is preliminary, however, and a new variant is being developed that will likely debut at next year's Moscow show. Only 500-1,000 Nebos will be built per year if RAD manages to carry this concept through to fruition.
