VW CrossPolo will hit Germany first

The German Car Blog has some info on the CrossPolo, the teeny "soft" off-road Volkswagen SUV based on the Polo and the successor to the Polo Fun. The vehicle will make its debut at Germany's answer to the SEMA show, the Essen Motor Show, kicking off on November 25. The little SUV goes on sale next February in Germany for 15,150 Euro, or close to $17,800 USD.
Like the Polo platform upon which it is based, the engine options offer far too weak output for the North American market, so those of us in the States should put our bets on the CrossGolf instead.
