As if the magazine rack at Barnes and Nobles isn't crowded enough with car mags, Motor Trend is set to harvest another few thousand acres of trees to produce Motor Trend Classic, a new mag that focuses on "the greatest post-war cars". Subscribers should have received an email yesterday imploring them to be the first subscribers of MT Classic. We'll hold off on the long-term commitment until we pick up a copy, but it looks promising as the mag will feature state-of-the-art performance tests of classic rides as well as the owners' own stories. It's surprising someone at Primedia made a persuasive business case for yet another print rag, but as we all know the appetite of an auto enthusiast is insatiable.
