The folks over at DaimlerChrysler are thanking their lucky stars, though, as the sales for the Grand Cherokee were flat with October 2004. Why are they so happy, you ask? Because SUV sales in October blew, that's why. The TrailBlazer was down 12,579, and Explorer/SporTrac sales were down 17,720. Total light truck sales were down 19.3 percent over October 2004, yet the Grand Cherokee managed to eke out 14,298 units.
