The Detroit News often puts together panels of the "everyman" to review autos — something we here at Autoblog don't need to worry about since we have a comments section. Anita Leinert has published an article outlining a panel's review of several models of the 2006 Honda Civic, including the hybrid version.
The synopsis — most panelist members would at least recommend the vehicles to their friends, but only four out of the eight would actually consider choosing the Civic over their SUVs. The deciding factor? "An empty half-barrel keg fits easily," said Lora Leneschmidt. "It's got great trunk space for a small car."

Can non-journalist automotive enthusiasts come up with a decisive review of the Honda Civic? You decide.
