, a German magazine, is reporting that VW has given its SEAT brand until mid-2006 to significantly increase its sales and earnings. If it doesn't, SEAT may find itself sacrificed to help keep VW solvent during these troubled times. The article states that VW could use the SEAT factory in Martorell, Spain to build cars for other brands or it could just sell SEAT to one of the many eager Chinese automakers frothing at the mouth to break into the European market.
