Hyundai recalls the Elantra

Reader Erik pointed out in the comments of yesterday's recall post that Hyundai will be recalling 240,000 Elantras. The problem is with the airbags, specifically the occupant classification system. It can mistake a child seat for an adult, which may result in a passenger's-side deployment during a crash. That would not be good. Nobody should be injured due to this problem, since everyone's being smart and putting their kids in the back seat where they belong - right?
