We're finally at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which we consider quite an accomplishment after the comedy of errors that befell us yesterday. Our first day in Frankfurt felt like a combination of the movies Planes, Trains and Autombiles and Euro Trip. Our plane almost tipped over on landing, the taxi ride to the hotel in the rain hit velocities above 200kmh (125mph), our three-star hotel that doesn't have internet or vending machines and this public transportation system is so confusing we almost… ALMOST… hopped on a train to Stuttgart by accident. But we're here, and this picture of Lamborghini's display is proof of that. (We're guessing the Gallardo Roadster is under the sheet, but we won't know until later today.)

Randall's at the first press conferences of the day (Skoda, Volkswagen and Audi) while I'm kicking back in the DaimlerChrysler Media Center. Expect tons of posts and pics today with a few follow up posts to round out our impressions of what we saw on this, the first press day of the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show.
