VW officially announced its upcoming hardtop convertible based on the Concept C will be named Eos. This comes as not much of a surprise as we have already known Eos as its "working title" for quite some time now. In naming the new cabrio, the marketing guys over at VW drew inspiration from Greek mythology, as Eos refers to the goddess of the dawn. Scheduled to be introduced at Frankfurt next month and hitting showroom floors in spring of 2006, the Eos is sure to bring smiles to VW Cabrio fans around the world.
