With the automotive press focusing its collective attention on Chrysler's rear-wheel drive vehicles, the current generation Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Stratus have all but been forgotten. These spy shots from TCC are of the next generation Sebring, which will remain a sedan while its Stratus cousin will most likely morph into a five-door hatchback. The new Sebring will be built on a Mitsubishi Lancer-derived platform, although all hopes of an AWD super sedan from Chrysler are for naught. The new car will get its own engines and certainly not be a copy of Mitsubishi's pocket rocket. Expect the new Chrysler Sebring to bow sometime in 2006 as a 2007 model.
P.S. Check out the camo pattern on the side of the car. It's freakin' me out, man.
