Not really automotive related, but Honda is preparing to demostrate its business jet on July 28th and the Oshkosh Air Show. With Honda currently making a wide variety of products, it is fascinating to watch what other areas they venture into. The HondaJet, as it is called, is an exercise in Honda's legendary pursuit of efficiency. The six-seater HondaJet is touted to be 40 percent more fuel efficient than anything in its class. This is a substantial claim, but their commitment to efficiency and their research and development capabilities make it possible. There is not definite commitment to build this plane in production, but you can be sure that Honda would not have spent the time and effort on if it wasn't serious. I wonder if you could get 'Powered by Honda' seatbelt cushions with the HondaJet?
