Ford decides to sell all remaining Ranger EVs

Ford has announced that former lease owners of the Ford Ranger EV can enter into a $6,000 lottery to purchase one of the 200 remaining electric pickups. This news comes six months after two lease owners staged a sit in to prevent Ford from collecting their vehicles and sending them to the crusher. The $6,000 is to cover the cost of refurbishing both the vehicle and the batteries. In addition, any current lease owners will be able to purchase their Ranger EV as is for $1. Who says you can't buy anything these days for a buck?
