For the 2006 model year, Buick will be extending its bumper-to-bumper warranty to four years or 50,000 miles. Besides extending the warranty, all new 2006 models will come with OnStar standard. You can be sure that only the first year or two will be included. GM is clearly pushing Buick higher up the food chain by making its warranty and service more competitive than those of other luxury makes. We would say that Buick is more of a 'value' luxury brand. It's obviously not performance driven, but instead about making the kind of car you can recommend to non-enthusiasts like Grandma: quiet, reliable, comfortable, high quality cars that offer little or no risk of offending anyone. Sounds like another non-American make doesn't it?
