The 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse gives Edmunds a confident ride around So-Cal, confident enough to have them forget about the car's AWD and turbo past. While we're still not too sure about the overall look to the car, Edmunds rates the car "sexy" on the Love Meter while we just get "clammy". We do agree that the interior is much better than the last Eclipse (and some competitors). The GS with a four-cylinder is the car that suffers the most with the Eclipse's 3500-lb weight, feeling winded and sluggish getting up to speed.
