Automotive News reports that two marketing executives have left Mitsubishi North America because they disagreed with top executives over how the 2006 Eclipse should be marketed. Their sources say Kevin Mayer, director of advertising, and John Jullens, head of strategic planning resigned on Monday. They also report that Mitsubishi has only set aside $25 million for the campaign, which is not a lot for a car that is supposed to herald Mitsubishi's comeback. Yesterday Mitsubishi announced April 2005 sales that were 43.3% lower than 2004.
