Nine hundred pound PT piñata

Who hasn't wanted to give the retro wagon a good smack? To celebrate five years of the PT, Cinco de Mayo and the 05-05-05 date, Chrysler has rolled out a life-sized PT Cruiser piñata stuffed with prizes including keys to a new PT convertible. The "truck" is covered in 1,500 feet of paper and is colored red, white and green to honor Mexico. Once the bottom was dropped, 1,200 prizes fell to the ground and those at the Cinco de Mayo celebrations in San Diego grabbed for hats, T-shirts and a two-year PT lease. No one got to hit it? Darn.
