J Mays gets backup

Freeman Thomas, formerly of Chrysler and Audi, is now Ford's director of North American design strategy. Thomas worked with J Mays on the New Beetle concept and also created the design for the TT roadster. We think that J Mays has gotten the VW out of his blood after seeing the Fusion, which features Ford's new corporate nose though the retro-theme will probably continue. Thomas was responsible for the Tomahawk motorcycle and Dodge Super8 Hemi concept while at Chrysler.
