No one has been injured as a result. However 142,000 1999-2002 1500 Series Chevy Silverados and GMC Sierra pickups are also being recalled for manual transmission problems that led to 26 crashes. Also 69,000 of the all-new 2005 Buick Lacrosse and the Canadian version, Allure, have been recalled due to faulty brakes that also led to one minor crash. Buick Rendevous and Pontiac Aztec owners should also check out the story for updates on their recalls.
